1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups marinara sauce
6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and halved
1 tablespoon olive oil
Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, raw egg, minced garlic, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the marinara sauce and bring to a simmer.
Place the meatballs back into the skillet, ensuring they are coated with the sauce.
Transfer the meatballs and sauce to a baking dish.
Nestle the halved hard-boiled eggs among the meatballs.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the sauce is bubbly and the meatballs are cooked through.

Variations & Tips
For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the meatball mixture. You can also substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option. If you’re short on time, use store-bought meatballs and pre-made marinara sauce to speed up the process. For a cheesy twist, sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the top before baking. This dish is also great for meal prep; simply prepare it ahead of time and reheat when ready to serve.
