Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Sauté Onions: Over medium heat, melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the diced white, red, and sweet onions and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the chopped green onions and brown sugar, and continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring every couple of minutes, until the onions soften.
Caramelize & Deglaze: Add the white wine vinegar and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Continue to cook for another 5 minutes, or until all the onions are very tender and have turned a golden caramel color.
Add Cream Cheese: Add the softened cream cheese to the skillet with the caramelized onions. Stir well until the cream cheese is fully melted and combined with the onions.
Assemble Dip: Transfer the onion and cream cheese mixture to an 8×8 inch baking dish. Stir in the sour cream and mayonnaise until well blended.
Bake: Top the mixture evenly with the shredded Parmesan cheese. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-22 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the top is golden brown.
