Prep the Chicken:
Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
Toss them in cornstarch until well coated.
Cook the Chicken:
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden and crispy on all sides (about 5–7 minutes).
Remove and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
Make the Sauce:
In the same pan, lower heat to medium and add garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds.
Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil.
Bring to a gentle simmer. If you want a thicker sauce, stir in the cornstarch slurry and simmer for 1–2 minutes until thickened.
Combine:
Return the cooked chicken to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
Garnish (optional):
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
