Prepare the cleaning solution:
Fill a large container with the 600 ml of warm water.
Add the tablespoon of detergent and mix well until it generates a light foam.
Add the baking soda and stir until completely dissolved.
Add the alcohol to the mix. If you want to enhance the effect, I added the two tablespoons of glass cleaner (optional).
Cleaning the sofa:
Dampen a clean cloth in the solution and wring it out well so that it is barely damp. This prevents over-wetting the sofa.
Place the cloth on the surface of the sofa and use a pot or pan lid to rub in circular motions. This method quickly removes dust and accumulated dirt.
Stubborn spots:
If you find stubborn stains, spray some glass cleaner directly on the stain and gently rub with the damp cloth until it disappears.
Accidental spills:
In case of a spill, act immediately by using absorbent paper to remove the excess. Then, apply warm water with neutral soap and rub gently with an old toothbrush. To dry, use a hair dryer at a safe distance.
Additional Tips
Clean your sofa periodically to prevent the accumulation of dirt and odors.
Test the mixture on an inconspicuous area first to make sure it doesn’t damage the fabric.
If you have pets, roll a lint roller before cleaning to make the process easier.
With this simple method, your sofa will look like new again in just five minutes.
Try it and enjoy a fresh and renewed atmosphere!
