My husband’s latest craze! Tried it once, and now he’s requested it multiple times!

1 pound ground pork
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, breadcrumbs, thyme, rosemary, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Form the mixture into 8 equal-sized patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the patties to the skillet, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Alternatively, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the patties on a baking sheet for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown.
Remove the patties from the skillet or oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Variations & Tips

For a different flavor profile, try adding a teaspoon of smoked paprika or cumin to the pork mixture. You can also substitute the ground pork with ground chicken or turkey for a leaner option. If you prefer a gluten-free version, use gluten-free breadcrumbs. To add a bit of heat, consider incorporating a pinch of red pepper flakes into the mix. For a more pronounced herb flavor, increase the amount of thyme and rosemary according to your taste.
