For the chocolate flavor:
100 g dark chocolate (70% cocoa, or your favorite)
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
For the strawberry flavor:
200 g fresh or frozen strawberries
2 tablespoons sugar (optional, depending on the sweetness of the strawberries)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the ice cream base
Creamy desserts
Whip the cream: In a large bowl, beat the cream with an electric mixer until well whipped, but not buttery. It should have a thick but smooth consistency.
Mix with the condensed milk: In another bowl, mix the condensed milk with the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Fold this mixture into the whipped cream, swirling it until it is well combined without causing the cream to collapse.
Step 2: Prepare the chocolate flavor
Melt the chocolate: In a heat-resistant bowl, melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each use to prevent burning.
Mix the cocoa powder: Once the chocolate is melted, add the cocoa powder and mix well until smooth and well combined.
Mix with the ice cream base: Add the melted chocolate and cocoa powder to about a third of the ice cream base mixture. Stir well to combine.
Step 3: Prepare the strawberry flavor
Blend the strawberries: Wash the strawberries thoroughly and, if fresh, remove the husks. Blend the strawberries with a blender until you have a puree. If the strawberries are very tart, you can add sugar to taste.
Mix with the ice cream base: Add the strawberry puree to the other third of the ice cream base mixture and mix gently.
Step 4: Whip the ice cream
Place in the mold: In an ice cream mold (or a rectangular container), pour a layer of the vanilla mixture, then a layer of the chocolate mixture, and finally a layer of the strawberry mixture. Try not to overmix them to keep the colors and flavors separate.
