EASY LEMON MERINGUE TART
Whisk together 4 egg yolks, 1 can condensed milk and 1/2k lemon juice.
Throw over a tennis biscuit crust and bake at 160 degrees for 20 min. While baking, beat the egg whites in a silver bowl with a little salt and 1/3 teaspoon cream of tartar powder and add 1/4 k white sugar a little at a time. Flash to soft points form. Don’t get over it
Take pie out of oven… Create stiff egg whites on top and place back in oven. Turn oven down to 110 degrees and leave the oven open by such a small note. Set rack just under the middle of the oven. Bake until meringue points nicely tanned.
Quick, simple recipe and is always a winner! Cool the pie before serving it. Better be ice cold

Delivering 1 large pie.
You need the following..
Vla
3 cans of condensed milk
250ml lemon juice
2 packs of tennies cookies
Vlavulsel
1 liter of milk
Sout
3 tablespoons of pastry powder
1 tablespoon of mazeina (corn flower)
3 tablespoons of sugar (to taste)
2 teaspoons of vanilla essence
Make mazeina and custard powder with a little milk.
Stir in milk mixture and heat.

Stir continuously to prevent clumps.
When remove thick enough from stove.
Mix the condensed milk with the lemon juice well together. (Just make sure the condensed milk must taste sour).. then add more lemon juice.
Packing underneath in tart baking a layer of cookies.. Then a layer of custard.

Repeat the layers by starting again with the biscuits.

*Finely beats the cookies and puts 1/2 of them in a pie bowl.
*Whip the cream & Caramel together, then add 6 of the crumbled crunchies and stir.
*Create half of the mixture on top of the fine cookies. *Throws the last of the fine cookies and then the last half of pie mix back on top.
*Crumbles the last Crunchie on top for garnish and places in the fridge ove
