Toll House Famous Fudge Recipe

Ingredient Quantity
Granulated sugar 1 ½ cups
NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk ⅔ cup (5 fl-oz can)
Butter or margarine 2 tablespoons
Salt ¼ teaspoon
Miniature marshmallows 2 cups
NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels 1 ½ cups (9 oz)
Chopped pecans or walnuts ½ cup (optional)
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
How To Make Toll House® Famous Fudge
Step 1: Prep Pan & Boil Mixture: Line an 8-inch-square baking pan with foil. In a medium, heavy-duty saucepan, combine the sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt. Bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil, stirring constantly, for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Step 2: Stir & Pour: Stir in the marshmallows, chocolate morsels, nuts (if using), and vanilla extract. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until the marshmallows are completely melted. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
Step 3: Refrigerate & Cut: Refrigerate for 2 hours or until the fudge is firm. Lift the fudge from the pan by the foil, remove the foil, and cut into 48 pieces.
