1 1/2 pounds ground beef (80/20 blend)
8 slices of bacon
4 slices of cheddar cheese
4 sesame seed burger buns
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
4 lettuce leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Grill the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the grill or skillet to melt the cheese.
Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
Assemble the burgers by spreading barbecue sauce on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a lettuce leaf, a beef patty with melted cheese, and two slices of bacon. Top with the other half of the bun.

Variations & Tips
For a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the burger. You can also experiment with different types of cheese, such as pepper jack or blue cheese, for a unique flavor twist. If you’re looking to cut down on calories, consider using turkey bacon and lean ground beef. For a gourmet touch, caramelize some onions and add them to the burger stack.
